Next stop was the City Palace followed by a visit to the usual arts and crafts bazar. But thankfully this one was different. The artists occupying this venue were had all one awards for their work which is the qualification for their presence. They paint intricate very colourful pictures using a brush with one hair from a squirrel. The colours used are from the natural pigments of stone which do not fade with time. The paper they use is very old rice paper (more than 110 years) that had previously been used for land contracts. They even have a stamp duty mark that authenticates them.
