Very early start today to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. It is a magnificent marble structure and truly one of the wonders of the world and a symbol of love that will never be repeated.

After the visit to the Taj Mahal we went back to the hotel for breakfast then off again to see the fort. There are lots of forts around India most of which were built by Hindis to protect their homes or Moguls who invaded India and then had to protect themselves!

Then in the evening we went back to the Taj Mahal for a sunset viewing. The colour changes from white to yellow as the sun goes down.

Dinner at the hotel’s Peshawri restaurant was a real treat.
